I interviews his OSS colleague stuart hughes as part of my research 
into neumanns work for oss and he was scornful of the claims stating 
FN's commitments were to the SD party not CP on the other hand the 
autobiographt of Wolff man without a face seems to implicate both 
neumann and another nuremberg prosecutor  - apparently he supplied some 
info via elizabeth bentlley i think from memory about religious issues 
in Gernany

Dear all,

I am wondering if anyone on here knows about the claim that Franz 
Neumann
was a KGB agent during his time working in the US gov't (OSS and perhaps
later with State), codenamed "Ruff" apparently.  The Venona papers 
cited in
Franz's Wikipedia page

have the details, but I am unaware of them.
