Adorno did not support the Vietnam War. He said that opposing the U.S. without criticizing the Vietnamese Communists had something "ideological" about it.
In evaluating Adorno's take on the war, it is important to distinguish his views from Horkheimer's.

Dear all,
I've written to this group before regarding this question but didn't receive
any adequate responses, so I'm trying again... I'm wondering if anyone can
direct me toward information regarding Adorno's views on what's termed the
Vietnam War. I've had it from Peter
Marcuse<http://www.marcuse.org/herbert/people/kellner/RevPapVol3JacobyNation052-7.htm>that
Adorno supported US barbarism there, but I myself am unfamiliar with
any literature corroborating that claim. In his 1969 correspondence with
Marcuse, Adorno does denounce Viet Cong methods, but beyond that...
Thanks for your help.
