I would suggest Steven Best and Douglas Kellner's POSTMODERN THEORY: 
CRITICAL INTERROGATIONS.  Though the book doesn't directly deal with the 
issues you raised (if memory serves), it does have a chapter on Foucault, 
and; the book basically looks at postmodern theory from a Critical Theory 
standpoint.  It's a good book and one I would urge you to check out.
