Marcuse and Foucault

A new book out on Marcuse, something like _Marcuse: The New Left to The
Next Left_, has an essay in it that attempts (as i remember it) to open 
up a space for possible Foucault-Marcuse mediations-- mostly by way of 
E&C and F's sexuality series.  Not so very much in itself but certainly 
a suggestive and helpful ancillary.  

Personally and in general, I would take care to not bring the two *too*
close; in this case, it seems-- at least prima facie-- that difference 
dominates, and glaringly.  Though, otoh, it's often precisely this that
makes comparisons educative, exciting and worthwhile; so, best of luck 
to you etc.
