And whilst I'm reminded, recent information suggests that Hughes Hall has
a firewall which blocks, amongst other things, ftp (and, IIRC, shttp -
both pieces of information need to be checked). On the other hand they
apparently supply all their students with a terminal of some sort (old
PC?); and do, of course, allow them to replace it with their own machine.
