Dear all,

The Carlton Club have asked me to pass on and extend the following
invitation to CUCA members

Dear Younger Members,

You might think, you might very well think that Michael Dobbs, the
author of House of Cards, former Chief of Staff and Conservative Party
Deputy Chairman will be coming to the Carlton Club on Monday, 23rd June
2008 to speak to the Younger Members of the Club over supper. Michael
has agreed to come and talk about his experiences in politics and how
they compare to fiction and as we will be in the Churchill room, he will
also talk about his novels which are based on the life of Churchill, all
of which have enjoyed critical acclaim. Not only will this be a
fantastic opportunity for members to put questions to Michael, he has
also agreed to sign copies of his books, some of which will be available
to buy on the night.

Members are invited to attend at 7.30 for supper at 8pm. The price for
this event, which includes supper (beer battered fish, with chips and
mushy peas), half a bottle of wine and coffee is £23.50. Please contact
Victoria Redden on victoria.redden at carltonclub.co.uk or call 020 7399
0907 to book tickets. Alternatively, you can book online via the
following link (scroll down towards bottom of page):

This is a unique event and we expect that tickets will sell very
quickly, so do buy them early. The Younger Members' Committee looks
forward to seeing you on 23rd.
