Probably, but it'd be more useful to say why and how. It's
essentially a recycled and secularized Platonic idealism, which has
taken so many forms in western literature and philosophy that of
course you can read pretty well anything into the Matrix, not to
mention analogues in the east.
Zizek's analysis was a waste of time -- just stating the obvious
because he felt he had to say something? Banking on his name? I
don't know. I get the impression that he's writing too much these
days and not reading enough.
