thank god...at last we can have some real debate on this list: was Benjamin's flat cold cos it was tiny. I feel more philosophically romantic by degrees. Did he ever get out of bed the lazy sod?  YES, only to suicide months later within grasp of temporal salvation, inches, nay fractions of inches, from the spanish border. Blah, blah, blah. Sorry, titillating historical anecdotes don't quite constitute relevance pour moi. Perhaps we are the greatest frauds in a fraudulent universe.
