Future of selfhood & resistance in cyber-age?  Deleuze, Foucauut, 
Heidegger, Benjamin, Adorno, Guattari,  Baudrillard, Virilio, Enzensberger, 
Feenberg, Poster . . . are all marshalled to show how the new technology 
menaces selfhood and resistance, or enables same in a few cases.  Williams 
lists the potential for cyber-resistance while going through all this, then 
ends with caveats.  But in the end, there's very little substance to all of 
this name-dropping.  Williams seems to live in virtual reality himself.
