I don't really find this sort of critical theorist partisanship very useful 
at all. Never did actually; especially in the 70s when it *really* mattered 
if you subscribed to Lenin or Trotsky or Mao etc. All the while the Right 
maintained its unity leaving the Left to split theoretical hairs until 
eventually it went out of business :-).

There's an awful lot I find useful in Marcuse, and H&A, and Habermas...Also 
much of interest in Heidegger and Sartre and Nietzche and Foucault and 
Derrida and the list goes on. I must be too catholic for my own good.
