I am mostly of the same opinion. I have yet to see a decent encyclopedia-length
article on critical theory, though; the extensive and highly specific background
required to understand critical theory is likely to be one of the causes of the
difficulty in packaging it in a reduced, non-controversial form. I'm afraid most
attempts end up as decisionistic or inintelligible.
Unlike the SEP, Wikipedia offers you a chance at correcting the problem.
Somehow, I've never felt up to the task.
