Ralph, did you think that Buck-Morss presented the Benjamin-Adorno
relationship somewhat suspiciously.  I had the feeling from reading her
book on Negative Dialectics that there was a presumed dependency
between Benjamin and Adorno in which Adorno failed him.  Fred


Ralph: I found the journal articles quite illuminating.  As for the
books, Buck-Morss is terrific, very readable,a blessing considering the
difficulty of the subject matter.
