A search of Philosopher's Index does not quite succeed in finding the
comparative studies that interest me. (I tried this a couple of years ago
as well.) Naturally, most of the comparative studies contrast the
aesthetic views of Lukacs and Adorno. Several deal with the influence of
Lukacs on Adorno. A few deal with their conceptions of nature.

The studies I might find the most interesting for my present purposes are:

Outhwaite, William. "Nietzsche and Critical Theory" in Nietzsche: A
Critical Reader, Sedgwick, Peter R (ed) (Blackwell: Cambridge, 1995).

TERTULIAN, NICOLAS. "LUKACS, ADORNO ET LA PHILOSOPHIE CLASSIQUE
ALLEMANDE", Archives de Philosophie. AP-JE 84; 47: 177-206.

TERTULIAN, NI "GEORG LUKACS ET LA RECONSTRUCTION DE L'ONTOLOGIE DANS LA
PHILOSOPHIE CONTEMPORAINE",  Revue de Metaphysique et de Morale. O-D 78;
83: 498-517.

JAY, MARTIN. "THE CONCEPT OF TOTALITY IN LUKACS AND ADORNO", Telos, SUM
77; 117-137.
