What would I do without Borders? Also gave a scrute to:
Critical theory : current state and future prospects / edited by Peter Uwe
Hohendahl & Jaimey Fisher.
New York : Berghahn Books, 2001.
Should have taken notes. I only read Hohendahl's introductory
essay. Unless I am misremembering this as some other book I looked at too,
he discussed three generations of the Frankfurt School. I think he
rebelled against Habermas and preferred to return to the first
generation. And I forgot totally what he said about the third
generation. Dammit. Anyway, I think the purpose was to evaluate where
critical theory stands today and where it should go. Anyone care to tackle
this book and enlighten us?
