What would I do without Borders?  Also gave a scrute to:

Critical theory : current state and future prospects / edited by Peter Uwe 
Hohendahl & Jaimey Fisher.
New York : Berghahn Books, 2001.

Should have taken notes.  I only read Hohendahl's introductory 
essay.  Unless I am misremembering this as some other book I looked at too, 
he discussed three generations of the Frankfurt School.  I think he 
rebelled against Habermas and preferred to return to the first 
generation.  And I forgot totally what he said about the third 
generation.  Dammit.  Anyway, I think the purpose was to evaluate where 
critical theory stands today and where it should go.  Anyone care to tackle 
this book and enlighten us?
