Ha :). Harder to believe is the expectation of uniformity of opinion :). Guess
there's still some sense of Marxist orthodoxy hanging about...
It's a mistake -- a simple, logistical mistake -- to ascribe agency in
international affairs only to the US. Chomsky does this regularly. He's like an
inverted rah rah patriotic military dude -- both think that only America acts in
this world, the military guy thinks we only act for good, Chomsky thinks we only
act for evil. Both are very cartoonish and paralyze us from facing the realities
of the international situation.
