I had in mind "Imaginary and Symbolic in Lacan" ('77) in F.J. The Ideologies
of Theory, vol. 1 and the wonderful The Political Unconscious ('81). I only
meant to indicate that Lacan has been fruitfully incorporated in a
theoretical way by someone who has written extensively about the FS (from
Marxism as Form from '71 to Late Marxism from '90). I should also mention
Drucilla Cornel, The Philosophy of the Limit ('92).
