Pickled Cucumber?

US forces are currently engaged in conquering Iraq, and you people are
wittering about cucumbers, and debating whether ASS press-spoofs qualify as
spam or not. I was hoping the 'Frankfurt School' list would be a forum for
more genuinely critical discussion of the implications. It's very depressing
that 'critical' now  just seems to mean personal abuse conducted in a
sophomor(on)ic manner. Don't you realise the magnitude of global protest
against this war? It's bigger than the anti-Vietnam War protests, or have
you succumbed to the US media's blackout? This is a sincere appeal to come
to your senses.
