Thanks. We get more flak from the so-called choir than we do from the soft 75%. This is
why motive must be addressed.
You are right. There are always conditions and qualifications placed on action by these
folks until it becomes non-action. On academic lists you always find yourself in the
suburbs somehow.
I would like to address the 'ahistorical rationalism' of universals within the scientific
method via Dialectic of Enlightenment but who dares. A lack of the dualist kneejerk, for
example there's a solution for every problem, sees any other result as 'cynicism',
removing it immediately from its necessary ontology.
I've been utterly impressed with Adorno's and Horheimer's work on science and technology
for years and I've incorporated into my own work. See:
