Hi guys,

I should be at the meeting right now, but I have a bit of a problem,
actually quite a big one, I've just got back from the hospital. On
saturday I was playing football and got a ball right in the eye, somehow
my eye took all the impact and I couldn't see out of it. I went to
hospital, and by this time I had zero vision, and zero pupil response.
Slowly the vision returned, and they found that the bleeding was only at
the front of the eye, no damage to the retina. The problem was the very
high pressure in the eye, and the main treatment is to stay in bed doing
absolutely nothing for at least a week. If I didn't promise this the
doctor was going to put me in hospital for a week. I saw her today and
the pressure has come down a lot, but I must still have a week of total
bed rest, then a week of taking it easy. I've decided the best thing to
do is go back home to Wolverhampton for a week. I'll be in touch via
email, but I don't really know how much work I'll be able to do, as I
can't really read at the moment, unless i cover one eye.
I'm really sorry about this guys, but I can't risk trying to do too much
as it could affect my long-term sight.

I really can't believe this has happened, and I hope it doesn't affect
the project too much,
see you all,
TIm.
