[foxtrot] unix 'CPU limit exceed' problem

Hi Guys
Have just been trying out server/client stuff on hammer (v impressive, but
Al, you'll be getting those bug reports real soon!).  Then hammer decided
to shut down current process quoting 'garbage collection in process, a
thread dump is not possible' and then things about being over disk quota
limit.  Someone did say something about getting round this, but in my
plague-ridden state I cannot remember.  Please remind!
