That's probably it.  Those instructions seem to have a sllightly different
purpose (unaligned word access) but can be abused for sub-word access.

I don't think we need to know features/names of particular chips.  We may be
asked about, say, rotating register windows but not be in the form "what is
interesting about IA-64's register file?".
