Virtuosic Italian violinist Giuliano Carmignola makes a welcome return  
to the UK to direct the AAM in early masterpieces by Schubert and  
Mendelssohn. Carmignola became a UK favourite after appearances at the  
BBC Proms, and recordings with Andrea Marcon, Viktoria Mullova and  
Claudio Abbado have confirmed his status as one of the most talented  
musicians around.

The concert's programme will perfectly showcase Carmignola's skill,  
and includes Schubert's Rondo for violin in A major and Mendelssohn's  
Violin Concerto in D minor.
