Dear All,
Notice is hereby given of the Christ's College Music Society's Annual
General Meeting, to be held on MONDAY 22nd FEBRUARY at 9.30pm (after the
Christ's Voices rehearsal) in the Lloyd Room.
As you've probably heard, 2010 is CCMS's 300th Anniversary year. This is
your chance to get involved at an exciting time for the Society by standing
for a position on the next CCMS Committee (see below). Even if you don't
want to stand, come along to vote and find out more about the Society's
activities. Refreshments will be provided!
Items on the Agenda:
1) Election of new Committee members. The AGM is traditionally when a new
Committee is elected. If you would like to stand for a position, please
e-mail Matt Doggett (mwrd2) by THURSDAY 17th FEBRUARY. Details of the
Committee positions and responsibilities follow at the end of this e-mail -
get keen! It is possible to stand for more than one position; if you wish
to do so, please state your order of preference.
2) Constitutional amendment. There is a proposal to change all instances of
the position title 'Orchestral Fixer' to 'Fixer' in the Society
Constitution and clarify the nature of this role. This will be voted on at
the AGM. The Constitution is available for viewing in full on the CCMS
website, which has also just been updated - take a look at
www.christsmusic.org.
