DEADLINE
Last chance to sign up for the trip (info below). I need your details as
soon as possible(!), but absolutely no later than the end of Mon 23rd,
so I can spend a delightful Christmas Eve sorting stuff out and then
hopefully stand a vague chance of enjoying Christmas itself. (If you get
them in before like 9am on the 24th then I will include you, but please
don't leave it that late.) Olaf, apparently you're planning to come? If
so, please let me know.
TRANSPORT
Bit of a nightmare: we now have zero definite lifts going to or from
Cambridge after Christmas Day! If you are in Cambridge and have your own
car, please, please sign up and drive it. I will love you forever. If
you have a licence but no car, please do consider hiring one (I can
discuss this with you further to establish which company and car size to
use, etc). All those who were hoping for Cambridge lifts should start
considering how flexible they can be with dates, looking into the
details of possible last-resort train travel and thinking about how much
they would be prepared to pay for this before it stops being worth it.
The nearest station to the farm is Bentham, followed by Clapham (NOT
Clapham Junction London!). Kit can be transported separately, so no need
to lug that on trains, the only issue is moving people around.
